Booking Tickets
When booking tickets for your child or on behalf of friends, please have the following details ready:
- Parent/Guardian: Full name, email address, and mobile number
- Teen Attendee: First name, surname, school, and Year group
- Responsible Adult on the Night: Full name and emergency contact number for each child
This information is essential to ensure a safe and well-organised event.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable and non transferable.
If you have bought tickets for children other than your own, it is your responsibility to forward the website onto the child’s parent, so they are fully informed of our safeguarding policy. If your phone number is attached to the ticket of another child, you will be the contact in the case of an emergency involving that child.
In the unlikely event The Red Hot Ball cannot take place on the scheduled date, we will notify you with the alternative date as soon as possible.
Is there a waiting list?
A waiting list will open after the second ticket release and the event has sold out. Just add your details and we will contact you if a ticket becomes available.
How many tickets can I buy?
We have limited it to a maximum of 2 tickets in one transaction.
How do I buy tickets?
Follow us on Instragram for event updates. Tickets go on sale on 16 October 2026 at 9am and can be purchased via https://buytickets.at/redhotball
How much are the tickets and what is included?
Enjoy live DJ beats, entertainment, photobooth and games, a pizza van and refreshments available all evening long. The ticket price is £50.
Arrival
All teenagers must be escorted to the entrance of the Premier Entrance.
Doors open at 7:30pm.
On entry there will be a drop off system with helpers and security on hand to signpost children into the venue. Guests will be checked for valid tickets and for alcohol or illegal substances. Whilst there may be a queue, we will do our best to get everyone into the venue as quickly as possible.
Collection
Teenagers may only be collected by the responsible adult named on the booking. Please ensure you are ready to collect your child promptly at 11.30pm when the party ends. Please park and make your way to the Premier Entrance to collect your teenagers. Please be aware that this may take a few moments, but the children’s safety remains our primary concern at all times. Please try to do this as quickly as possible to allow other parents swift access. No children will be allowed to depart by minicab, uber or taxi.
Entry & Safety Policy
- Valid Ticket Required Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket purchased in advance through our official website.
- Wristbands & Security Checks Guests with valid tickets who pass security checks will be issued a wristband upon entry.
- Security Screening All guests will be checked on arrival. This includes bag and clothing searches for alcohol, cigarettes, vapes and illegal substances. To ensure the safety of everyone, any guest who refuses to cooperate will not be admitted.
- Parental Consent By purchasing a ticket and allowing your teenager to attend, you are providing consent for them to be searched as part of our safety procedures. If you are purchasing a ticket for another child (eg where you have purchased two tickets) we will assume that you have obtained the necessary consent from their parent/guardian
- Zero Tolerance Policy
- Alcohol: Any guest found to be intoxicated or attempting to bring alcohol into the venue will be refused entry and must be collected immediately.
- Drugs/Illegal Substances: Possession or use will result in immediate police involvement.
- Right to Refuse Entry The Red Hot Ball reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual at their discretion.
Who runs The Red Hot Ball?
A group of local parents who have over 20 years’ experience organising events. Having enjoyed The Red Hot Ball in our youth, we wanted to continue the tradition. The Red Hot Ball is a fantastic experience for teens to reconnect with local friends, whilst ensuring parents can feel confident their children are in a safe and secure environment.
Which charity are you supporting?
The Red Hot Ball was founded with the aim to support local charities, especially those helping children and their families. This year, we are supporting Pendragon Community Trust. . https://www.pendragon-ct.org/
The Red Hot Ball has previously supported, CHUF, The Friarage, Cystic Fibrosis Care, Mind and many more
What is the dress code?
Black tie and party dresses! Trainers actively encouraged.
Will there be a professional photographer at the party?
No! There will not be a professional photographer at the party. Attendees can take photos with phones, however, please ask permission before social media posting. There will be a photobooth to use throughout the evening
Is there a cloakroom?
Yes, we offer a free cloakroom for all guests. However, as space is very limited, large bags are not permitted. All items in the cloakroom will be searched.
To keep things moving smoothly, especially at the end of the night, please limit the number of items left.
All belongings are left at the teenager’s own risk.
Top tip: With so many similar-looking jackets, please ensure yours is clearly named or easily identifiable to avoid mix-ups.
Can I leave the event and return?
All teenagers must be collected by a responsible adult at the end of the party.
Anyone who chooses to leave before the event finishes does so at their own risk. Please note that re-entry will not be permitted once a guest has left the venue.
If guest needs to leave the event room earlier than 11:30 they need to contact a member of the Red Hot Ball Committee.

Alcohol and Vapes Policy
Absolutely no alcohol, cigarettes or vapes will be allowed into the party and we will confiscate and dispose of any found. We have the right to refuse admission if we feel your child arrives at the party under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.
The Red Hot Ball operates a strict zero-alcohol policy. No alcohol is permitted on the premises. Any guest suspected of intoxication or found in possession of alcohol will be denied entry or removed from the event.
They will be placed in a supervised waiting area and must be collected immediately by a parent or the designated responsible adult.
Vaping and smoking are strictly prohibited at and inside the venue. Any vapes or nicotine products found will be confiscated and will not be returned. Anyone found smoking or vaping will be asked to leave, without readmittance, and their ticket cancelled.
There will be a team of fully trained security personnel on hand throughout the evening, who will conduct checks upon arrival and monitor guests throughout the evening to ensure everyone’s safety. Children will be asked to empty their bags and pockets on arrival to ensure that no banned substances are brought on to the premises. Please be aware that if they refuse to comply with any security checks, they will be refused admission.
If a child is deemed to be acting inappropriately we will contact parents and ask for them to be collected.

Personal Possessions
Allergies/medical requirements
Please email redhotballthirsk@gmail.com with details of any allergies, medical issues or if your child requires the use of an epi pen. A pizza van will be providing food during the evening, it can’t be guaranteed to be free from nuts or other allergens.
We will have a trained first aider and additionally St John’s Ambulance in attendance throughout the evening. We will assume, unless you inform us otherwise, that if required, we can seek urgent medical attention for your child without delay, even if we have not been able to contact you by phone first.
